As part of the larger effort to increase awareness of Philo and bolster content discoverability, my team was tasked with implementing a phased FAST, or free ad-supported streaming television, plan. The MVP was launched in November 2022; during this stage, we rolled out the FAST experience to deactivated users in order to improve engagement and reduce the churn, while collecting useful information that would impact our decisions for the next phases.
