About This Project

The Lake County Wine Alliance is a cooperative composed of Lake County wineries, winegrape growers, vineyard owners, related businesses, and community supporters. Formed in 2000, the Lake County Wine Alliance is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization operated under the guidance of a six-member volunteer board of directors with the purpose of supporting charitable and other local programs in the arts, health, and community.

The redesigned site, built on WordPress, was launched in May 2017, just in time to promote the 2017 Lake County Wine Auction. The penultimate version of the website was built on Drupal; along with reinvigorating the visual design, the new version of the site has a vastly improved user experience, the result of extensive prelaunch user testing.
